Laidback. That pretty much sums up Cyprus. With the history we were after, we managed to meander through some amazing scenes and places – some off the beaten track and some with the flow of tourists. This, while enjoying some Third Wave coffee vibes at Gloria Jean's.

Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus

St Hilarion Castle (inspiration for Walt Disney’s Snow White).

Girne – quaint harbour town.

Karpaz Peninsula’s Golden Beach – home of hatching turtles.

Salamis – ancient Roman port city where the Apostle Paul landed during his first missionary journey (Acts 13:5).

Republic of Cyprus (South)

Troodos Mountains – some incredible trail running was had on the Artemis Trail.

Akamas Peninsula – hot, dusty and remote.

Paphos – ancient Roman city where the Apostle Paul departed after travelling and ministering through the country (Acts 13:6-13).
